More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at waterfall canyon academy in ogden for about 2 years. This job required me to work with about 15 young women (pre-teens to 23 yrs old) that had behavioral problems, struggled with mental health and were on the spectrum.
I’ve also babysat multiple different children (frequently the same ones) over the years. Age ranges from newborns to teenagers.
I’m also a single parent myself to a 2 year old girl who I’ve raised and financially provided for by myself since birth.
I got hired a lot previously through care.com but now they are charging fees just to find jobs hence why I’m switching to other sites.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Caring for and loving the kids just as their parents would! Safety first and being the best care giver you can be. It’s an honor for parents to trust me with their child and I really appreciate that as I know it’s a hard thing for parents to do. I want parents to know I’ll always have their kids best interest at heart and treat them like I would my own child!
My experience with special needs children...
When I worked at waterfall canyon for about 2 years I worked closely and daily with young women who were on the spectrum but they were all pretty high functioning physically, mostly struggling with behavioral issues and emotional immaturity. I was trained in de-escalation and educated on these topics which has helped me immensely in my day to day life.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I nannied this boy for 2 years, he used to call me buddy, it was the cutest thing ever! He was so sweet and had the cutest little personality! I absolutely loved how kind his momma was, she treated me like I was truly apart of the family!
