A little bit about me

I have been working with children over 30 years. I had a contact with the USA military working and serving families that were overseas and needed care for their children. I owned a daycare/preschool for 7 years. I have been hand picked out of hundreds to serve high end families and I have been blessed to serve families that were in need of a person to love their children as I have always done regardless of cost. I’m looking forward to serve the next family.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Oh my goodness, I have been bless to have all types of experiences with all types of families, I have served families from Nigeria, India, South Africa, and all parts of the USA. I had a contact with the United States military to care for children who parents were overseas serving this country. I had care packages which mean the court gave me temporary custody while parents were overseas, I have had children in my care for up to three years while parents were away. I had my own grandchildren in my daycare/ preschool and they would call me grandmother well, that became my name in this daycare grandmother and boy I tell I loved every moment of it. I have had a passion for children over 30 years and have seen my children grow up and become amazing adults and I’m grateful to have had a positive effect in their most important part in their lives. I hope to serve my next great family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Through the years I have become quite the craftMaster lol…… I love painting rocks with my children, depending on age of children we cook, making cookies brownies, after observing for a few weeks I see if child is ready for sight. Words , shapes , puzzles., depending on the child that is where I focus on activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The best part of being a child’s companion is rewarding in many aspects. One being in the early stages of their life you get to place a permanent hand print in their lives, you get to support parents ideas of what sort of adults they are structuring, being kind, respectful, thoughtful, intelligent happy and so on, when they become older I will always be a memory, a thought to them it never fell.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many over the 30 years of service, and this morning I received one this morning.,Today is Sid’s birthday and he calls to tell me what he wants for his birthday and say you Mrs, Shenelle I want you to come home to me…… by the way Siddu is from India but lives in Texas and is 4 years old, now that was tear deserving and I cried too. I have served these children and their families in excellence and that is what I receive in return. I’m thankful for all the experience great and small .
