I have over 20 years of experience teaching preschool, as well as nannying and babysitting( various ages), all of which I built trusting relationships with both children and their families.

I enjoy being active with the children in my care. Whether it’s playing outside or visiting the local park, or staying in and doing arts and crafts or playing a game, I am a firm believer that children learn through play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Open communication and building trust is one of my main objectives in being a caregiver. It’s important for me to give my families the peace of mind of knowing their children are safe and well cared for. It is equally important for me establish a relationship with the children in my care. That will happen through respectful communication and engaging in activities that they enjoy. Being “present” is crucial to building that relationship.
My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my career, I have worked with several children on the autism spectrum( mild). Additionally, I have a child who is on the spectrum , as well as has adhd. Needless to say, I have done a lot of research on helping children with extra needs to cope in the world around them.
