I enjoy creating fun and engaging activities that help children learn, grow, and express themselves. Some of my favorite activities to do with children include arts and crafts, reading stories, educational games, outdoor play, sensory activities, and creative projects that encourage imagination. I love helping children build confidence while learning new skills and exploring their interests. One of the most rewarding parts of working with children is seeing their excitement when they accomplish something new or discover something they enjoy. I believe activities should be both fun and educational, allowing children to learn through play while developing important social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
My experience with special needs children...
Although I worked at a center for 6 months I learned a lot between the 4 weeks of training and the 6 months of hand on working. Patience is key! Everyone has a different learning pace and everyone deserves an opportunity to have space and ability to learn how they desire.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment would definitely have to be leaving a kid and them asking there parent if I’ll be coming back. It creates this reassurance that I successfully did my job and the kid enjoyed!
