A little bit about me

My name is Shyanne, I have been a nanny for the past 5 years and I am located in coral gables. A little bit of my history: Earlier this year I nannied for a family full-time for a family with a 3 year old 18 month old, and newborn. Before that I was an overnight Nanny for premie twin girls. I also had a temporary position for three months being a newborn care specialist for a family with a newborn. Then last summer I was a full-time nanny for two girls, ages 4 and 7. Before that I was a consistent weekend babysitter for a 3 month old infant and a 2 year old. I also have experience being a travel nanny. I also have experience with special needs children and individuals with medical conditions. I am CPR/AED certified, have my babysitting certification from Red Cross, and I am in the process of taking child development and early childhood learning classes. I am a non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outside, riding bikes, sidewalk chalk, taking them to the playground, pushing babies in the stroller on a walk. I love doing arts and crafts. Reading has also definitely become one of my favorite things to do with children. Along with teaching them sign language, I find that young children do well learning sign language even if they can’t verbally talk yet it helps me communicate with them. Teaching colors, shapes, sight words to young children is also something I have found to be rewarding.
