A little bit about me

Hello! I am a college student studying to be a teacher. I have spent the past three years working as a teacher's aide at a school for the blind. During that time I have gained some wonderful experience in working with young children with special needs. Sadly, my university hours have changed and I will now be in class during those school hours. So, I have decided to look for a household to nanny in. I feel that I have a lot to offer! I am patient and cheerful. I make it a point of pride to never let bad days in my personal life affect how I act with the children I work with. Through working with an incredible teacher at the school for the blind, I have learned how to recognize and stop many potential problems before they occur and how to maintain a positive environment. I am a good cook. I also like to provide a structured schedule for the children that I work with and very much enjoy any educational opportunities that I can provide. During the summer, my hours of availability are very flexible, as I am not in school. On August 27th, when the semester starts, I will be available after 1:30 pm on all weekdays.
