Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to babysit for my neighbors a lot when I was still in high-school. I would also volunteer at special olympics for children and adults who wanted to play in a tennis tournament.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Something that I value a lot is activities. I think it’s important to be able to go outside and just play. While I think its just as important to stay inside at times to watch a show, do puzzles, play with toys, or to draw, etc. While I’m still young I feel like I can keep up with whatever the children want to do, activity wise.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is that trust you gain with the kids. Having that connection with them not only will make your job easier but also it will make the children more comfortable and cooperative.
My experience with special needs children...
I would help out at these tennis tournaments that were held for only children and adults with special needs. I really enjoyed working with them because it made me more acknowledgeable about special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I haven’t worked as a nanny but I have babysat for a family while I was in Highschool. My favorite moments with them was when they finally knew who I was, when they would learn new things, or want me to play with them. I love experiencing those small moments with them!
