The most important part about being a nanny...
I think providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment is the most important part of working with children/youth. If they do not feel safe they cannot reach their full potential or be able to thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
- I've worked with many children with autism spectrum disorder
- Experience working in learning centres at school (students with a range of special needs including physical and mental)

The most important part about being a nanny...
It was a hot summer day and me and the three children I was caring for were playing in their pool. I then took them for a sweet ice cream treat. They said it was the most fun day they had with a babysitter!

Babysitter Available in Dartmouth, NS: Sophie B.
I’m Sophie, a 19 year old medical science student at Dalhousie University interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics! When i’m not studying, you can find me working part time at a daycare for ages 18 months-5 years, getting outside with my friends, or trying a new craft or puzzle. I love people and I am especially passionate about working with kids. I have over a year of experience with toddler aged children as well as currently coach a youth volleyball team. My favourite thing about kids is how fast they learn and adapt and I would love to find the right family that I could be of help to!
