A little bit about me

My name is Khadisha & I am 28 years of age and a momma myself to a beautiful 5 year old Babygirl. I have been a caregiver for the past 10 years and absolutely love what I do. I've worked with numerous amount of families; all in which I've had amazing experiences and built wonderful relationships with. I am a very understanding, kind, humble, and most importantly hardworking being. There is nothing I don’t do with the kids. I am an educator with my own tutoring business and start with ages as early as a year so I try to incorporate that with the kids I nanny. I love to read and sing with the kids to engage with them because their happiness is what is important. I love outdoor activities especially if they are learning to walk so I can hold their arms and practice making their legs stronger to have the courage to walk and do more and reach all their milestones. I cook and attend to anything that has to do with the child(ren) I am caring for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience and safety!! There is absolutely nothing more important than patience and the kids safety. You are working with kids so you have to practice being calm and subtle because kids don’t listen always but they are still kids. As well as safety! Their parents are trusting you to care for the most important person/people in their lives and you have to care and protect them as if they are your own!!
