The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, loving bond with the child and their family. It goes beyond just supervision, it's about becoming a consistent, positive presence in a child’s life. That means creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel valued, understood, and free to grow. Also means working closely with parents, respecting their routines and values, and communicating openly. At the heart of it all is trust when a child feels secure and a parent feels confident!

My experience with special needs children...

Subbing for early childhood kids was an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I truly enjoyed being part of such a formative stage in their learning and development. The children’s curiosity, creativity, and genuine joy in the little things made every day feel meaningful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when the child I was caring for ran up to me with a handmade “thank you” card after a fun afternoon building a pillow fort and learning basic reading. It was full of scribbles, stickers, and misspelled words but it meant the world to me.
