More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for about 8 months of a sweet little 3 year old and her 1 year old sister. The 3 year old was nonverbal (at the time) autistic. I was able to help with her development and communication.
The last little girl I watched was from July 2022- March 2023. She is one day younger than my son and had extreme separation anxiety from her single mom. So my son had a lot of independent play while I dotted on her most of the time to get her comfortable.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy being outside and doing crafty activities, but I also love cleaning and helping kids learn.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Helping others and watching kids grow! Making sure the family is comfortable and I’m doing the things that are asked of me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a few children that have autism and needed extra attention and help learning to communicate their needs. We used boards with pictures on it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was watching the little girl that has autism she was learning to communicate with pictures on Velcro tabs. I was helping her make the connection and I helped her learn some signs and she communicated that she had to go potty for the first time to me!

I may seem young and unexperioused but I make up for it in a majority of different ways. I am not someone looking for a job just because that's what you do, I don’t work for the money. I am not a person who even cares about the paycheck. I am the person who cares about what she does and loves what she does. My whole childhood the only career paths I saw myself pursuing where those of helping others, making others lives just a little bit easier. I am a dedicated person, it's a trait heavily admired in my family. I love a challenge and I am not one turned away by a little bit of difficulty. I love children, animals, to be honest I just love people. I can be fun and childish but I also can be well mannered and responsible, I am very adaptable to my surroundings in that way.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Parma, ID: Kiley D.
All my life I knew I wanted to be a caregiver. The ability to make someone else’s life just a little bit easier is all I ever saw myself doing with my life. I came to the realization that childcare is the field where I want to take myself further in life. Children are the future, you learn something new everyday and I love the idea of being there every step of the way, the process of growing up is a never ending process, and I am here to both teach and learn.
