my whole life has revolved around kids ( being the oldest of 3 kids and the oldest cousin on my moms side) and I absolutely love being apart of their growth process, helping them read, write and explore their imagination, I have a degree in psychology and linguistics and a studied film and television and was in the drama club so you can only imagine how much I enjoy encouraging creative and imaginative play as well as integrating fun ways to teach educational aspects of their growing minds, such as social skills, hand-eye coordination as well as fine motor skills. I'm great at potty training and developing a great structure in their everyday lives. i strongly believe i would be a great addition to the family and a great friend and role model to your child/children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

during the summer time I enjoy going to the pool and swimming ( I was on the swim team in highschool).
I love basketball and softball, i love going on hiking trails with the kids and looking at the different plants and flowers.
I enjoy riding and teaching how to ride a bike, I LOVE sidewalk chalk and anything that has to do with arts and crafts, i love to paint and draw with the kids if not a little more than the kids.

The most important part about being a nanny is being a good role model for the kids, setting good examples and being a great reflection of how they should conduct themselves in this world, its important for me that both the parents and nanny are on the same wavelength in every aspect of the children's life even to the minuscule aspects because that plays a role as well. It's important to be loving, compassionate because children pick up on that and will mimic accordingly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is anytime the kids have achieved something they were struggling to achieve or wanted to achieve for a long time on their own ( using the potty for the first time with or without help, seeing them learn a new word or read. seeing how much they have progressed on fine motor skills, seeing them effectively use good social skills).
