A little bit about me

My name is Sofia Fouad, and I am looking forward to continue my passion for working with children. I recently graduated with honors from Judge Memorial Catholic High school, and I will be attending the University of Utah in the Fall. I am majoring in Educational Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. This academic route will set me up for a professional career in working with children in an educational environment.

I have worked with children aged 2 months to 8 years old for about the past four years. A large portion of my professional experience comes from my time at Nano Nagle Children's Center, where I have worked primarily in the Infant classroom, occasionally in the 2 and 3 year old classrooms as well. A notable aspect of my experience also comes from five years volunteering at the Children's Center- a therapeutic preschool that helps children and family who experience mental disabilities, abuse, and the foster care system.
