My experience working with children with special needs in a preschool setting. As a teacher, I worked closely with children with different developmental and learning needs and collaborated alongside their shadow teachers to provide the best support possible. My favorite moments as a caregiver are witnessing children’s milestones—whether it’s a baby’s first steps, hearing a new word for the first time, or seeing a child master a new skill they have been working hard on. Being able to support and celebrate those special moments with children and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for kids.
