Hi families! I’m Sofia Haakenson, a Junior at UW-Madison (Class of 2027) studying Kinesiology with a Athletic Healthcare minor. My goal is to become a Pediatric Physical Therapist, so working with kids is a huge part of my life and future career.

I’m originally from Rochester, MN, where I spent years babysitting for local families. Now that I’m in Madison, I've been missing having that time and connection, and I’m looking to bring that same energy to a new community!

Outside of babysitting, I love to be outside, run, hang out with my friends (and brother, who's a freshman at UW), and cook!

Because of my background, I’m deeply aware of physical safety and development. I’m not a "sit on the couch" sitter, I love being a loud supporter, an active play partner, and a positive role model. I can’t wait to meet your family and help your kids be their best!
