More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have one child of my own who I have been a stay at home mom to. Then I have a 1.5 year old niece who I have cared for. I also have plenty of little cousins who I have had to care for over my life. Caring for children is nothing new to me! However I have never had a proper nanny position until, hopefully, now!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Riding bikes, playing in the park, picnics, watching movies (unless that isn’t allowed), playing games, playing with a ball outside, the opportunities are endless!! As long as we put some imagination in it anything could be fun :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny would be bringing love and fun in to the home so the parents are able to go and do what they please without any worries at home. Being a nanny is about respecting the parents while also showing the child it is okay that mommy and daddy have to be out working or doing whatever they want/need to do.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have any experience with special needs children… but I am an amazing learner and am willing to learn how to!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment so far has been when I was watching my niece who is the same age as my son. They were playing together and all of a sudden my niece gives my son the biggest hug and then wouldn’t stop doing it until they said bye. It was the funniest thing because she knew we all loved it and she loves her cousin!!
