"I can't say enough nice things about miss Sofia. She offered up her help watching my daughter, Umi, when she heard me talking about looking into daycare and how expensive it can be which was such a life saver. I'm a single mom who works full time and having someone I can trust to take care of my daughter meant the world to me. Umi just adores her, She has such a gift for finding the balance between being a friend to Umi and doing what she knows I would want her to when she has to steer her in the right direction. My Daughter admires her so much and Sofia is the kind of young lady you want around to be a good influence. She's really responsible and motivated. She's also great at teaching a workout class which was a good influence on me too. She's a great cook and is so creative which is important to me. Your family would be lucky to have her around."

The most important part about being a nanny...
Among many other important things like being present, being patient, being kind and aligning with the parents goals on how to handle difficult situations, I think it's most Important part is that I enjoy the job at hand. It's such a blessing to be able to make a living this way. I will always be happy to show up and put my best foot forward.
My experience with special needs children...
My sister and I did babysit a young boy with pretty severe autism when we were younger, which went pretty well but we were young, I wouldn't consider myself experienced in this but am very open to the idea!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time when my moms friend Nicole and her baby, Umi, were living with us I wasn't babysitting or anything that day but she sneaked out of her room from her nap time, came into my room and wanted sleep in my bed instead. This was when we were kind getting to know each other still and that was one of the first times I realized she liked to hangout with me as much as I did with her and it melted my heart, it also became a habit of hers and was always so special.
