More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I have cared for children includes a wide range of roles across different age groups. I assisted in teaching dance lessons for six years and taught swim lessons for four years, both of which required strong communication, patience, and the ability to engage children of all ages.
In addition, I have over eight years of babysitting experience with children of various ages. Growing up as the middle child in a family of nine, I have also spent much of my life helping care for my younger siblings and nephews, which has given me a natural comfort and confidence around children.
I have worked as a camp counselor for Napoleon Middle School for five years, where I helped lead outdoor education activities and ensured a safe, fun, and structured environment. I also organize and participate in volunteer events through my college that involve working with local elementary school students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include a mix of creative, active, and educational fun! I love doing crafts and simple science experiments—“candy DNA” is always a big hit with younger kids. I also enjoy building forts, playing games, drawing, painting, and coloring.
I like to stay active by going on walks, playing outside, and spending time at the park or pool. I also enjoy cooking fun and simple foods with kids when appropriate. Most importantly, I love encouraging imagination and creativity, helping kids explore, learn, and have fun in a positive environment.

My experience with special needs children...
While I do not have extensive experience working with children with special needs, I have had several meaningful opportunities to support and care for them. I assisted at a local church’s VBS program where I was responsible for a three-year-old with Down syndrome throughout the week, ensuring they felt safe, included, and engaged in activities.
I have also worked with children with special needs through my time teaching dance and swim lessons, where I adapted activities to meet individual needs and create a positive experience. Additionally, at outdoor education camp, I supported children with special needs in participating alongside their peers in activities such as canoeing and bracelet-making.
I am patient, attentive, and always willing to learn, and I strive to create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child feels comfortable and valued.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Angola, IN: Lindsey H.
Hi! I’m Lindsey — a wife, mom, foster mom, and longtime photographer who absolutely loves working with kids. After years of caring for little ones in my own home and through our foster journey, I’m excited to open my schedule and offer full-time nanny care to a family that needs dependable, loving support.
I’ve spent over 15 years photographing families, babies, and children of all ages, which has given me a natural ability to keep kids comfortable, entertained, and safe (even during the wild moments!). At home, I’m a mom of four and a foster mom of two, so I’m used to juggling different personalities, ages, routines, and needs with patience, humor, and creativity.
Whether it’s keeping your little one entertained, helping your home run smoothly, or being an extra calm voice in the chaos, I’m here to help. I’d love to connect with a family that values kindness, communication, and lots of laughter.
If you think we’d be a great fit, I’d love to chat!
