Obviously as a nanny, but also volunteered and helped out elementary school kids during the day at school like an aid. Babysat for friends and family as well.

arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, movie days, dress up, swimming, and reading sessions to promote creativity and learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a safe environment where kids can ask for help, be themselves, view me as a friend, leader and mentor, but most importantly show them warmth and love to make sure they know they are strong, important kids who can do anything they set their mind too.

My experience with special needs children...

I used to be a PAL/LINK in Highschool and help kids stay on track in classes grades kinder to 12th. Basically a helping hand buddie who also hungout and be there for them when need be.

The most important part about being a nanny...

With my previous family, it had to be watching the youngest crawl for the first time and having the kids "help me" with baking cookies.
