Hey there! I'm currently a college student studying Early Childhood Development. I have been a paid babysitter/nanny for 5 years. I specialize in infants-8 years old, and have experience with infants-13 years old. I also have experience with children who have verbal/non-verbal autism. I am most often working with siblings, so I'm able to handle watching over, transporting, and cleaning after multiple children at once. I am CPR/First Aid OSHA certified, am a safe driver, and am a patient and loving caregiver for all kids I take care of. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered as a teacher's assistant for multiple middle schools, worked as a summer camp counselor, and supported multiple after school programs with assistance in school work and childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy feeding into children's growing minds and imaginations especially when they are younger. Whether it is indoors or outdoors, there is always a way to incorporate play and imagination into whatever we are doing. I prefer to spend the majority of our time outdoors and off screens, however I understand that every family works differently and that some kids need screen time to regulate. I'll always discuss with parents what they want and see how best to provide that for their kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There is nothing more important to me than your child's safety and trust in me. As your nanny, I am there to be a patience, kind, and encouraging support system for your child and you.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with a few families who have special needs children, usually children with autism verbal/non-verbal. My parents work for SDRC, a resource non-profit for special needs families, so I have a better understanding and grasp on what children with special needs are dependent on their caregivers for. However all children are different and I'm always looking for more opportunities to support families of/special need children who are often neglected by regular childcares.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A memorable moment was when I was nannying for three kids one whole summer, and there was a heat wave, we had to stay inside, but I was trying my best to keep three kids of very different ages entertained all week inside without electronics. It had some ups and downs, but by the end of the week they had created and practiced a whole play that the kids with my help, put on for their parents. How happy they were to be creative and outgoing made both me and their parents so happy and its something I cherish to this day.
