More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience taking care of a child when i baby sat for other’s children and my younger brother growing up! Their ages ranged from toddlers to school-aged kids. My responsibilities included ensuring their safety, preparing meals or snacks, helping with basic hygiene, engaging them in safe and fun activities, and maintaining a calm and supportive environment. These experiences helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on the age for indoor activities i enjoy to do arts & crafts (drawing, painting, making cards, or simply DIY)
Story- Time: Reading books together and encouraging kids to tell their own stories
Baking or Cooking: Simple, kid friendly recipes like cookies or mini pizzas.
Music or dance: singing songs and having a mini dance party.
Outdoor activities: Park Visits: Playing on swings, slides, running around in open spaces.
Nature Walks: exploring the outdoors or going to the beach and collecting shells!
Chalk art or water play: Drawing with sidewalk chalk or playing with water tables, bubbles, or sprinklers.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where the child feels cared for and can grow. This means being reliable, patient, and fully engaged. As well as, meeting the child’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs while also building trusting relationships with the family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a kid learn how to ride a bike- it was amazing to see their confidence grow and share that joy with them.

Hi! I am a first time Mama looking for a family that would be willing to bring my little one along. She is currently almost 3 months old! I have been watching kids since I was 10 and I am now 23. I love kids and actually started school to become a teacher. I love all stages of little ones but also really enjoy the older kiddos too.

I’m a retired teacher with 22 years of experience working with children from 1st through 7th grade. I hold a master’s degree in education and have worked with children of all abilities—gifted, special needs, and everything in between.
I’m also a mother of two grown children, and currently a nanny in Atlanta for a wonderful family with four kids, including a set of 4 year old twins, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old.
After being displaced by the hurricane and spending the past year in Atlanta, I’ll be returning home to Waynesville, NC and settling there permanently. I’m looking to find a kind, welcoming family in need of dependable and loving care for their child/children.
