I think I did and am doing pretty good with my own. My oldest son will graduate this year and is on the honor roll. My teen is mellow and my youngest is the sweetest little girl. All my kids don’t swear (yes) including my 18 year old. They are polite and well behaved. I feel I do a great job at raising my children and feel I could do the same with yours. At any age.
