The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child I cared for overcome a fear of reading out loud. We spent time each day reading together, and I encouraged them with positive reinforcement and fun activities that made reading exciting. The moment they confidently read an entire storybook on their own, with a huge smile on their face, was incredibly rewarding. It was amazing to witness their growth and the boost in their confidence, knowing I played a part in that development.
