I think the most important part in being a nanny is creating memories with the children and being there as much as you can for the parents that need the extra help, ofc safety always comes first but being remembered when the kids are older as someone important in their younger years is always special
My experience with special needs children...
I grew up having special needs children and adults around me, when I worked at the daycare I had a class of 10 with a majority being special needs some even being nonverbal, I learnt different ways to help with potty training different ways to help teach them and I even got some of the kids to start speaking which were the best parts of being a daycare teacher seeing the kids grow and seeing the parents excited about their first words.
