More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked in a daycare for about a year and looked after kids from 2 months - 12 years. I would be with certain groups where I was needed. I was in the baby room a bunch with 4-5 babies around the ages of 2months - 1 year. Also did time in the toddler class from 1 year - 3 years. And then the big kids class was from 3 years - 5 years. We also had after school kids from 7 years - 12 Years that we did homework and assignments with.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor: arts and crafts, obstacle courses for little ones, reading, teaching baby sign language for little ones, age appropriate development games like building blocks or putting strings through shapes to teach hand eye coordination. Baking (if parents are okay with it)
Outdoor: running around, kicking balls, exploring the garden for flowers, bigger obstacle courses, water balloon playing, sports.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me a nanny is a person the parents trust with their most valuable thing in life, their kids. It is extremely important that a nanny is loving, caring and have a lot of patience when working with kiddos. Kids are pure and loving and a nanny should always want to keep that part of a child. Children should be carefree and able to enjoy life. A nanny is there to make sure the environment is safe and loving so the kids can become the best possible versions of themselves as they grow older. But a nanny also needs to respect the parents rules and expectations at all times.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was an au pair for two ER physicians so I had the kiddos most of the time for two years and one of my best memories was when the little one started walking on my 21st birthday. Honestly every moment where one of the kids learned something new was a special memory for me.
