The most important part about being a nanny...
Being with one family and getting to know their children. Consistency is important more for the children than for the adults. Adults will adapt but it takes longer for children. Also building a bond and trust are also important. I have worked in a daycare setting before and it is hard to get to know the parents and honestly each child on an individual level but working as a nanny is different you somehow become part of the family at least in certain situations.
