More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

One of my most memorable experiences working with children was during my time as a volunteer at a local after-school program. Each day, I worked with a group of 10-12 elementary school children, helping them with their homework and leading them in various activities and gamesne of the children I worked with, a shy and reserved 6-year-old girl, had trouble with her reading skills. I noticed this and decided to take some extra time each day to work with her on her reading. Slowly but surely, I saw her confidence and skills improve, and she became more outgoing and engaged in the activities we did together.

Watching her grow and develop was a truly rewarding experience, and it was a privilege to be a part of her journey. This experience taught me the importance of being patient and dedicated when working with children, and how much of a positive impact I can have on their lives.

Crafts: Children love to get creative, so craft activities like painting, coloring, or making masks and paper dolls can be a fun and engaging way to pass the time.
Outdoor games: Outdoor games like tag, hide and seek, and capture the flag are great for promoting physical activity and teamwork.
Cooking or baking: Children can learn about cooking and nutrition while having fun making simple recipes like cookies or pizzas.
