When my youngest was in school full time, I was a nanny for teachers children in my area. For the last 10 years I have been a caregiver for special needs children/adult. I truly love be a nanny.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking the kids outside to play, reading books to them, crafts, singing and dancing to their tunes, playing on the floor with them with their toys and I always took my children to story hour at the library. They truly enjoyed this. This is also an option. Thank you.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny for me is that the children feel safe, loved and cared for. Making sure they are happy and having a wonderful day filled with so much fun and lots of memories. Being able to take care of someone's else children is in my eyes the most important job you can have with the exception of being a Mom yourself. These children are the most precious gift to them and I always make sure they know this.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was watching a little girl and there was a rain storm during Summer and when it stopped we went for a walk and she wanted to jump in the puddles, and of course I said, "Yes" and when she did both of us got drench with water and a little mud. We laughed all the way home. Priceless. My most special moment is when I arrived at her house and she ran up to me to tell me that she loved me and called me "Auntie Sue". With the parents approval I am still to this day "Auntie Sue". Melts my heart.
