I am an authentically enthusiastic, welcoming, & dedicated experiential education professional, skilled in making joyful and meaningful connections with others, particularly children & youth. I have a B.A. and an M.S. in Recreation, I’m a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School, and I’m a Wilderness First Responder. I am equally passionate about outdoor education and early childhood development, so nature play/exploration is an integral part of my nanny care! Outdoor education focuses on learning through experience, saying “yes” to try, and being curious about the world around us. I am creative, dedicated, easy-going, and a self-starter yet love working as a team. In addition to outdoor exploration, I integrate songs, art, baking, and field trips (e.g., zoos) into my work with children, and I bring a global perspective of having visited 17 countries.

My experience with special needs children...

In my outdoor education work, I have supported youth with ADD/ADHD and who are on the Autism Spectrum for 1-2 weeks at a time, 24/7.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was taking the (then) 3-year-old I nanny for to Muir Woods and watching her love & amazement of the redwoods grow with each step and new discovery.
