I am the 1st daughter of 5 siblings, mother of 4, grandmother of 6 so children never scare me. I am an energetic woman with a gift and heart for children.
I have worked 40+ years with children and have my early childhood degree. I have worked at daycares, schools, afterschool programs, substituted for grades Pre-K-Middle school, directed a church nursery (2's and under) at a mega church in Charlotte, NC for 11 years, and am currently babysitting for 2 doctors at the present time.
I always want children in my life; it's where I function best! I am loving, creative, silly, fun, firm but gentle and loaded with ideas! I know how to speak "baby" and listen to a child's heart. Every child is brilliant and deserves to be heard. Most children tell me that I am a "kid in a grown-up body!" They see right through me! I have managed to take care of my late mother and continued to work part-time for the last 11 years. I am ready to find a place where all of us can flourish and thrive.
