A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Suzanne. I am 34 years old. I started my life early so I have one daughter who is 17. I have never had any other children but I feel like I have. I have worked in the 0-11mth nursery age and 12-24 mth age for several years in preschools and daycares. I also have had a very hands on role in raising my niece and nephew while helping my sister out. I am ok with pets. I do not smoke. I do not drink. I do not take prescription medication of any kind of illegal drugs. I am starting what I call the second part of my life with my daughter going off to college soon and I am looking to spend my time doing what I love which is being around children while possibly making a little spending money for me! I am only looking for part-time but I will come to you and I will be on call for you once we get to know each other incase something unexpected comes up. I am kind and friendly. My goal everyday is to find one positive thing about everyone I meet and to make at least one person smile.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to get kids involved in arts and crafts but trying to avoid the big messes! Sometimes you can't help it though and you have to let the creativity flow. I like to play all kinds of age appropriate sports/yard games. Just playing though. I am definitely not the coaching type. My most favorite activity with children of all ages is dancing, singing and listening to music. It has so many benefits

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with one autistic child age 5. She's 9 now and my whole family still goes to see her at the buddywalk each year. I am not certified in anything but I do have patience and understanding and can be taught any routines or needs

The most important part about being a nanny...

was one time when I was working the nursery so I had 6 babies under the age of 1 y. Five of them were walking! (One set of twins) Those babies lined up and played follow the leader so much through out the day I know they were asleep before their parents left the parking lot! But my favorite nanny moments really have to be when Ive been invited and almost poached to come work for individual families instead of a daycare. I joined three different families while they needed me when I was working. The babies tell the story and they show nothing but love for me because that all they get from me. Theres nothing more precious and sweet on this earth that can make such a mess but I love the whole process of raising children
