A little bit about me

Hi my name is Asusena, but I go by Suzy as a faster & easier call out name ! (: I am 22 years old, 23 this year! I have been studied at Chico State, and continue my education at COD for more units over child development education. I have continued to have full availability though! I’m pursuing the early childhood/ school age career path and I love every bit of it. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children as they always bring me joy. I don’t have experience with “nanny jobs” so much, but I have taken care of many children. I have done many childcare opportunities, at a work site, in a classroom, my own home, etc. I am bilingual (Spanish + English) I can cook, & help kids with their homework/ tutor. I know many parents are here because they need a helping hand to provide for their children & I’d do everything in my power to satisfy that. I’d want the same for my kids. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat multiple family friends’ children at their home. I’ve had jobs in the past where I worked in childcare and babysat children for hours while their parents enjoyed their vacation. Along with hosting craft events and implementing educational activities ! I have volunteered at various sites focusing on elementary and middle school level kids. I study the field of early childhood and education and have taken various classes regarding teaching education and learning about the abilities and skills children of all ages bring to the table and how to manage them in a safe and caring way.

Being a nanny means having a commitment. A commitment to ensure the child I care for is safe and happy. Satisfying them and their parents is a huge deal to me and I will do everything in my power to deliver great skills to advance their child in a happy and safe way. I treat any child I take care of like my own. I grew up babysitting from a young age, to tutoring at a teen age , and teaching at my age now. Children have always been around me and I am comfortable caring for any child on my own.
