More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Preschool Teacher, and a Kindergarten Teach for Six Years, then they decided to remodel the building. I decided to get back into college at Eagle Gate. Moved to Eagle Mountain, I'm looking to be a full time nanny.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Creative Activities with lots of colors such as coloring, finger painting or just regular painting their favorite animal, painting a picture of their home, there cute little face, or just painting something everyone has to guess what it is. Jumping activities like hopscotch, or color jumping where you have to land on the color, so the pretend lava doesn't get you. Circle time is a blast, making fun homemade Play Dou activities for the kids to make something fun for their parents when they show up is lots of fun too!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part as being a nanny is Being a clean, anti-bacteria free as much as possible. I know kids are dirty and they love it but always wipe the kids' hands and face off with clean soap and clean wipes, and wipe the toys, and the tables off too!! Also, know how to prep meals, know how to make homemade food. Kids love homemade treats, snacks, meals, drinks, activities games and so on! You can even do a fun activity and let the kid/kids help make yummy treats and get their fingers all fun and sticky! Then, clean up after. The kid's first and then the mess second. Always have lot of energy with a big smile and be ready to have ton of fun with the kiddo/kiddos.

My experience with special needs children...

I used to be a Preschool, and Kindergarten Teacher for Kiddie Academy for Five Years.
I worked with Four special needs kids. I know how to treat, react, and help them as needed.
I also had a class in Jr High, and a class in High School on helping special needs kids. Playing games with them, feeding them, keeping them calm, being right next to them if they needed anything, and how to help them take a nap as well as all the other kids! Special needs kids have great hearts to and are absolutely so awesome!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Every moment as being a nanny is so much fun! Every moment with the kiddos is my favorite for sure. They joy, the fun, the laughter, the messy lunches and dirty fingers. It's all my favorite, just like I tell every kid I have ever nanny for, you did awesome today, I wil see you tomorrrow!
