Hi! My name is Sydney! I have worked as a live in nanny for 1 year and a summer nanny for 3. I have 11 years of experience working with children. I also have tons of experience working with children having special needs! In my free time I enjoy crocheting, fishing, and being with my family. I am first aid, CPR, AED, AHT, shaken baby, and concussion certified.

I moved from MN to SD back in 2019 for my significant others job. In May of 2020, we bought a house in Colton, SD! We recently had a baby boy!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children of all ages. I was a live in traveling nanny for a newborn for a year.
-While in college, I worked with several children with special needs (Down Syndrome, autism, verbal apraxia, cerebral palsy, etc.) My significant others brother has cerebral palsy as well and have cared for him.
- I used to work for a nanny service in MN and watched children of all ages!
- Growing up my mother did home daycare and I would help out.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything that gets their minds to spark! Painting, sensory projects, swimming, playing outside, playing kitchen, building towers, imaginary play!

I worked with children with autism, DCD, verbal apraxia, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Juvenile Arthritis, epilepsy, feeding tubes, premature birth, and more! I am going to school for special education!
