A little bit about me

I would like to start off by saying that I am not vaccinated nor am going to be getting vaccinated. I understand that this can be the deciding factor for some families. I’m open to talking more on the subject if need be.

I am an outdoors person. I like small walks, big walks, hikes, biking, camping, and more. I enjoy good company, animals and, a happy environment.
I’m genuinely and confidently familiar with child care. I grew up sharing the care for my younger sister who is autistic as well as has a speech impediment. As well as helped out in special needs classes.
I feel certain in my ability to make a great fit with the right family for both you guys and myself.

Lifeguarding both adults and children. A lot of accident preventioin.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outside games like hop scotch, jump rope, catch, stretching with music, sprinkler in the grass, walks to the park.
Arts and crafts. Painting, drawing, coloring, stringing beads.
Reading books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The over all saftey of the child/children. That being the physical and mental health of the child.
The abilty for me and the child to connect and create and bond that works.
Creating a safe place.
And a fun sapce.

My experience with special needs children...

My younger sister is autistic with a speech impedement, six years younger then me, and such a cool person. Along side being the closest growing up, I helped her a lot in understanding the world around her. And she taught me just as much by allowing me to see the world through her eyes.
I helped in her class on my free time at her elementry school. The class had other kids with differnt special needs and i enjoyed getting to know them all.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was babysitting my little cousin Aly, we were walking on a dirt trail after a heavy rain, barefoot. We came across a large muddy puddle and I jumped in to her suprise. "I love the mud!" she screamed and jumped in as well, splashing mud everywhere and simply enjoyed being a kid.
