More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Hi! My name is Sydney, and I’m a caring, dependable nanny with hands-on experience supporting children through important developmental stages. I’ve had the privilege of being a nanny to a wonderful family with a young boy I’ve cared for since he was 2 years old and now 5, allowing me to build a strong, long-term bond and grow alongside him.
I truly enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and understood. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with daily routines, multitasking, and adapting to each child’s unique needs and personality. I believe consistency, kindness, and communication are key when working with both children and parents.
I take pride in being someone families can trust and rely on, and I’m always eager to learn, grow, and provide the best care possible. I’m excited about the opportunity to support a new family and become a positive part of their children’s lives.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities that support creativity, learning, and healthy development. I enjoy reading books together, doing arts and crafts, sensory play, and encouraging imaginative play. I also love getting outside whenever possible—going for walks, playing at the park, and helping children explore nature safely.
I’m happy to support learning through play by working on colors, numbers, letters, and early problem-solving skills, as well as helping with routines like meals, naps, and transitions throughout the day. I enjoy creating a balance of structured activities and free play so children feel both supported and independent.
Most of all, I love building genuine connections with children and making everyday moments fun, positive, and reassuring.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure, valued, and understood. Building trust with both the children and their parents is essential, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
Being patient, attentive, and emotionally present allows children to feel confident as they grow, explore, and learn. I believe in guiding children with kindness, clear communication, and age-appropriate boundaries while supporting their individuality and development.
Most of all, I believe a great nanny becomes a steady, positive presence in a child’s life. Someone they feel comfortable with, supported by, and excited to learn from every day.
