The most important part about being a nanny...
One sunny afternoon, I decided to take the kids out for a game of soccer after the oldest got home from school. However, in my enthusiasm, I overlooked a crucial detail—I was wearing socks instead of shoes. Predictably, my attempt to kick the ball ended in a not-so-graceful collision with the metal fence surrounding the backyard. The outcome? A trip to urgent care.
Despite the mishap, the kids' compassion and worry for me in the following days turned it into one of my fondest memories. Their genuine concern and caring nature made the whole experience both endearing and memorable. It's moments like these that make nannying truly special.
