The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny Is being a positive role model. Being someone that a child can look up to and to trust when ever they're scared, sad, or excited! Watching them grow into an awesome person can be such a rewarding thing.
My experience with special needs children...
I babysat a child who was around 4-5 who has autism. They were a picky eater and not very communicative, but I made sure to understand their social cues and what made them comfortable or uncomfortable so they could trust me. Im used helping children who might think differently than others!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when my baby cousin who was 1 at the time learned how to walk for the first time and I was sooo proud of them! They used my hand for balance but after I let go they just started going all on their own it really made me reflect on how much time flies!
