Hi! I'm Sydney, a 23-year-old postgrad student. I work part-time at a coffee shop, where I really enjoy the artistry and calm pace of making coffee. It's a great balance for me. In my free time, I love to read and write, and when I'm feeling energized, I also enjoy going for a run.

I’ve always had a deep love for babysitting and caring for kids. I spent five years babysitting around my neighborhood in Ann Arbor, and it’s something I’ve truly enjoyed. There’s something special about getting to know each child, understanding their unique personality, and providing them with a fun, safe environment while their parents can relax, knowing everything is in good hands. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 4 years of babysitting experience from when I lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I began during high school and continued through my first two years of college. It was a wonderful chapter of my life, and I had the opportunity to care for children within the neighborhood I grew up in.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities with children include playing board games, going on walks, taking them to the park, watching a good movie with movie snacks, drawing and painting and baking sweet treats together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important aspect of being a nanny to me is building a personal connection with the child or children and learning how to care for them in the most nurturing, respectful, and endearing way. I strive to be someone they feel comfortable talking to and can trust completely. I want them to know that, no matter what, they’re in safe hands and that both their parents and I have their backs through thick and thin.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was taking the kids bowling, followed by ice cream afterward. We came home, I cooked dinner, and we settled in to watch a fun TV series. Afterward, they helped me make cookies, and we spent the rest of the evening chatting and enjoying each other's company until it was time for bed.
