More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a Mother of 3 adult children all out of the house. I've been a caregiver for end of life patients for over 10 years. I was an assistant to a pre school teacher for 2 years. I have taken care of all age groups of children and adults. I am at my happiest and feel content when I am caring for infants and children of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am willing to do any activities with children even if it's searching for bugs. Lol not to sure about snakes...I love all dogs and cats and have done some pet sitting as well. I enjoy arts and crafts coloring or playing with cars and trucks just as long as the child is having fun and enjoying themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being responsible and respecting a parents decisions and rules. Nannies are fun and silly and are there to help set an example for children. Sometimes there are serious things that have to be addressed. At the end of the day it is the parent that sets the rules to be followed. It is a huge important responsibility being a nanny and one that is not taken lightly. There is absolutely nothing wrong in asking for help.
My experience with special needs children...
I helped nanny a 2 year old that was hearing impared. Some children with a whole lot of energy and some children that weren't interested in anything.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Just hearing the laughter and being able to be silly in today's world. Children pick up on everything even infants. There is a time for structure but there is time for enjoying the simple things. Time slips away from us and it's good to stop the clock for a while and enjoy the silliness and laughter once in a while.
