In high school, I worked as a childcare provider with children under 5. I was also a nanny for a family with 6 children ages 2-11. I volunteered as a camp counselor every summer in high school with children ages 9-14. For the last 3 years, I have volunteered at a summer camp for kids ages 8-17.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging in imaginary play inside and outside. Kids especially love chasing games outside. I like taking kids to the park and keeping them active. Playing games indoors is always good for teaching social skills and getting them to sit still. I’m usually up for whatever makes them happy as long as it’s safe and allowed!

I have worked with high needs children in mental healthcare for almost 4 years now. I have experience with children with ADHD, anxiety, autism, conduct disorder, ODD, and trauma. I feel well prepared to handle any behaviors or struggles a child may have.

Any time a kid has told me they love me or showed that they felt safe with me. I believe you have to earn a kid’s trust and that they can tell whether or not someone is genuine and really cares about them.
