The most important thing about being a nanny to me is creating a bond with the kids AND parents. I feel like when you spend so much time nannying you become family. The parents should be able to trust you 100% because they have so much other stressors in their life. The last thing you’d want to do is make them feel like their kids aren’t in good hands. It’s also so important that the kids enjoy who you are! It’s hard for children to cope with parents being at work so you want a nanny who can ease that as well. Trust and bonding is key to a healthy relationship between nannies and families.
