there was a time when i had an interview at a day care and they had me watch a class to see how it would go and everything was good until i seen a toddler laying on the ground crying didn’t want nobody picking them up so i just laid on the ground next to them and rubbed there back until they stopped crying and it worked !!kids like to be comforted too
