During high school, I was involved in both PALS and Best Buddies for three years. Through PALS, I worked with elementary school students and helped them with homework, reading, classroom activities, and anything else they needed throughout the school day. I loved getting to know the kids and helping them feel more confident in school. Through Best Buddies, I worked with students with special needs and helped create friendships, support, and fun experiences for everyone involved. These programs taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and how to connect with children of all ages and abilities, which has helped me become a better nanny!

I have worked closely with children with special needs for several years through both Best Buddies and Special Olympics. During high school, I spent three years as a Best Buddy and peer mentor, building meaningful relationships with students with a variety of needs and helping support them both socially and academically. I have also been involved with Special Olympics since 7th grade, volunteering and working alongside athletes of all abilities. These experiences have taught me patience, adaptability, strong communication skills, and how to create a supportive and inclusive environment for every child.
