i have worked at a daycare where i worked with infants and toddlers for 2 years , i have worked a summer camp three summers in a row and moved up to group leader within one year, and then i worked in a youth program where i tutored children as young as kindergarden through eigth grade.

making crafts , making costumes out of old clothing , going out for a nature walk and collecting leafs to make crafts, learning sign language

My experience with special needs children...
we had a special needs toddler at the day care where i worked for two years, he did not eat with the other children and did not want to sit, we followed him and taught him how to sit when it was lunch and snack time. even circle time someone had to sit with him, teach him how to understand the daycare routine.
The most important part about being a nanny...
my favorite nanny moment was when a toddler i was taking care of started to move his hands and ask me something in sign language , he asked for "milk" he was so cute because at the time he was not verbal.
