I'm a mother of 3 daughter's,2 of which are disabled and were micro premises. I have 5 grandchildren,3 of them are also disabled..
I love children and I am experienced with newborn thru adulthood.
I have experience with children that are health impaired,from asthma,sleep apnia,developmental delays,autism spectrum disorder.auditory prossesing disorder,sensory disorders as well As add,Adhd and hyper kinetic adhd. Also non-verbal and Cerebral Palsy, Diabetes,seizure disorders.
I am knowledgeable in basic sign language and some Spanish.
I home schooled my children and I have a list of other talents or experiences that 8 would love to talk to y'all about.
I am dependable, trustworthy,loyal,kind,nurturing and loving.
I have transportation with working AC &Heat.
I am available ASAP.
I can pass background check.
And my driving record is great. No accidents or tickets.
I don't drink and l no longer smoke ciggeretts I do cape or e cig. But with no Nicotine.
I am also CPR AND AED CERTIFIED.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a stay at home mom. My children were micro premies and therefore needed me 24/7. Two of my daughter's are disabled and now lwad productive lives on their own. I also took care of many nieces and nephews as well as stepchildren. I homeschooled my daughters as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Baking is always fun because their little faces light up when their hands are in the cookie dough..I try to make everything fun and enjoyable for them from homework to cleaning their rooms.
Children need to be able to get dirty and play outside, alittle dirt is good for the soul. I also enjoy reading to them and letting them learn to read their favorite stories. I'll get in the floor and play dolls or cars, tea parties and hide and seek.arts and crafts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me about being a nanny is providing a Safe and secure environment where the children can learn and grow without fear of being punished for not being perfect. No one person is perfect. I am patient to a fault, I would rather repeatedly show them and help them with something than fir them to be afraid to ask for help.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with cerebral palsy,asthma,bipolar,major depressive disorder and anxiety and panic attack disorders. I also have experience with children that have autism and developmental delays. As well as auditory processing disorder and sensory processing disorder.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A sweet memorable moment that I absolutely will never forget, was the day I was caring for my nephew ,In which he has Autism spectrum disorder he wanted me to make him some kool-aid,when I didn't jump up and do it right then he started screaming.I told him screaming will not get him his way.That I do not reward bad behavior, but if he would like to ask me nicely instead of telling me that I would be happy to make it. He smiled from ear to ear. And asked so sweet then gave me a huge hug. I told him if he would like to help me make it he could, again huge smile and now he will make it himself with minimal supervision. He remembers the exact steps in which it was made the first time. That is what matters and makes being a caregiver of children worth every second..
