Being empathetic. Listening to the child, listen to the parents. Finding a common balance so their child can grow.
Being attentive, and understanding. Even at a young age, children absorb more than us adults realize. Always need to be quick on your toes too!

Getting a hug! How can you say no to receiving a hug from a child? You just can’t! Melts your heart and my problems are no longer there.
