More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteer actively in my community (pre-covid.) I used to volunteer at the elementary schools and the hospitals on a regular basis working with children and elderly. I have been babysitting for seven years and wouldn't even be able to count the amount of times I've watched after children. I used to have a pro account on Care.com until the age requirements were changed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing all sorts of activities with children. Some of my favorites are doing arts and crafts, science experiments, and baking.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is providing the best care you possibly can for the kids. Demonstrating discipline yet compassion towards the children and making sure they know you care about them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for a variety of differently-abled children. I've worked with kids that have down syndrome, autism, mental retardation, hydrocephalus, wheel chair bound, and much more. I actually strive to become a developmental disability nurse, working with differently-abled people.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment would have to be Pippi Longstocking day. The kids and I watched the 1988 movie, mopped/skated along the floor, went splunking, and made pancakes for lunch.
