More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as an assistant teacher one summer (volunteer position) at my cousin's school. I am also TA at a local preschool for the past year or so. I have been a babysitter, nanny, and tutor in the past as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Cooking, baking, arts and crafts, science experiments, and playing games that promote teamwork and creativity in children.

Taking care of and understanding the needs of the child, and making sure that both the child and parents are satisfied with my performance.

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteered helping children with special needs with homework, reading, social and physical activities. I also have experience working with exceptional children ages 3-5yo at my current job. Plus I have younger siblings with exceptional needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Going for walks with a baby I used to nanny (he was a little over one when I stopped nannying). We would stop for ice cream on the way home and it was always the best time! I also really enjoyed going to the park with another child I used to nanny. We would play soldiers versus aliens (it was his idea) and have a blast.
