Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I like to do with the kids would be art & crafts such as making things with popsicle sticks or colored Pom Poms. I much rather make things but if the child would rather just color a page out of a coloring book we could always do that too. Some outdoor activities I like would be going for walks, riding bikes, or drawing with chalk.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part of being about being a nanny would be making sure the child/children are satisfied. I would want to make sure that the time I spend with them is a time they actually enjoy. Some of the things I would incorporate into the day would be art and crafts, going on nature walks (if it’s okay with parents), or water activities since it’s so hot out such as a slip & slide, water guns, or if accessible going swimming.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with working with special needs children was great. Each child is unique in their own way and I would have to understand things that they liked and things that upset them. Doing this helps me be able to understand them.
